One of our favourite destinations which we have visited as a family, Peru offers an insight into Latin American culture and history like no other.  Machu Picchu is one of the World's greatest heritage sites and is amazing if you get to see it at sunrise.  Another must is a visit to Cusco, the capital of the Inca population with its amazing buildings and main square, Plazas De Armas.  For the more sporty and energetic you can walk the Inca trail with a guide or ride the rapids of the Urubamba River.   Llamas, Alpacas and colourful markets abound.  Visiting Lake Titicaca is a must and we also recommend families visiting the man made reed islands of the Uro Indians where the family can learn the art of basket weaving with the local community.  Let us plan the perfect itinerary for you.
